What is it?
Holy shit is what it is. It’s so fucking fun I don’t even know how to put it into words (lol, that’s why these are shit reviews 🙂). I have absolutely zero rhythm so I’m complete rubbish at this game, BUT IT’S SO ADDICTIVE ANYWAY. You play as Chai, a wannabe rockstar who fights an evil mega-corp, all to the beat of course.
The game doesn’t punish you for being bad, but it does throw it in your face with a grading system at the end of each encounter. If you try to attack off-beat, you still attack - the game waits for the beat and you don’t get any bonus damage. I appreciate the leniency.
I’m not over-exaggerating either. HI-FI Rush has REALLY good reviews. 10/10 on Steam, 9/10 on GameSpot, 89% on Metacritic, and 97% of Google Users liked it. Seriously, google it. The internet doesn’t lie.
